Saturday, May 11th from 13:00 the Cinema Arsenale of Pisa hosts the day-event "Anatomy of a Short Film", in which the linguistic, technical, productive and distributive aspects related to the universe of the short film will be explored. 

Realized in collaboration with the Cineclub Arsenale and the Department of Civilization and Forms of Knowledge of the University of Pisa, the event will be free and will include numerous panels, meetings and screenings.

Here is the program of the day:

AT 1:00 PM WELCOME LIGHT LUNCH

OPENING OF THE WORKS - Intervene with Alfea Cinematografica and Cineclub Arsenale, Maurizio Ambrosini, Professor of History of Cinema (University of Pisa), and in video Stefania Ippoliti, Director of the Toscana Film Commission.

LAB - The laboratories of the short film tell about themselves. Speakers: Francesco Andreotti, Professor of the shooting laboratory (University of Pisa), Sentiero Film Factory and Corte Tripoli Cinematografica.

WORKSHOP - "Designing, producing and distributing a short film" by the story editor Marco Compiani, with speeches by the producer Pietro Torcolini and director Alessandro Grande.

COFFEE BREAK

FESTIVAL – Meeting with the Artistic Directors of the short film Festivals: Toscana Filmmakers Festival, FiPiLi Horror Festival, TRAme Indipendenti, Universo Corto, Lucid Dream Festival, Pisa Robot Film Festival.

EVENT – Projection of short films and meetings with the authors.
